This xmas~ to someone special...

Here I am at the deadest, hottest place spending my xmas. I thought nevermind, xmas never my favorite day. Specially in such a HOT HOT HOT days where you don't expect to see anyone around. 24th usually mean stocking up, 25th mean sleep in late with the air-con switch to coolest and waiting for 26th, another deadly day where nothing open except the corner little Asian store (never feel like to check it out except on these day) and 27th crazy crazy sale and i rather stay in bed. I think this is pretty much the concept of xmas here. Ha Ha

What different this year is, 24th, 25th & 26th.......and more, I'll spend all these days in hospital with my grandma who is not doing quite good at the moment. And this is a very tough moment, a lot of decisions need to be made and she is not even strong enough to do it. So they are passed to us. And I have to say, these are very heavy and tough decisions, it's a life decision, a life on your hand to decide. I don't even sure whether we have this right to do so!?! I know I'm "not that" positive thinker but glad dad is. I just want to see her happy.

Happy Anniversary

Just realised a year is about to pass... and
so far I am glad to spend a year time here... ^_^

Yeah~ This is my 2nd batch of 120 Holga~
It's fun & I love it so much (though I think the first result were better.....)
Nevertheless, It's so so so $$$ to have it developed and print here, and this is one of the reason keep me away from 120 too. So, this time of trip, I have bought a 35mm converter thought it would be cheaper to play with 35mm, but this stupid plastic thing is kinda troublesome to use and not cheap too... (!!! -_-) 好無奈

Black September

This is the students' made calender we did last year, which was an idea to have something done by each of us and keep together as a good memory. And here's my turn; I've been looking forward to this day for 8 months. I turn over the calendar to my month before the last day of August (i just can't wait) and then put back on my messy table, sitting right next to my monitor and facing upwards for the next coming 30 days. ^_^

As I remeber, I've never seen such 2-colors roses before and I just can't reusefed myself not to buy it. it's just so beautiful and smell so nice too. ^_^

It's funny though, the first thing people usually ask is "How much is it?", it's seems like for them spending money on flowers (esp. roses) for no particular reason is such an extravagant behaviors.

However... to make yourself happy and to cheer up your home (for couple of days) is priceless. and I am now more and more enjoy myself staying home!

and yes... recently I've found myself so easy to get pissed off! :p

Planning to redo my digital portfolio... um it is necessary since it looks quite a disaster on PC. It's again PC and MAC can not communicated!

This is the CD package I designed for my digital portfolio. I like the idea "pop up" but some how I need to re-works the cutting again. it's still looks quite raw. By getting this designed, I was so into those pop up cards and books, and I realised "pop up art" is on the way back in trend soon. And what's next for me it's...... STAMPS print effect! :)

Heading Sydney

alright~ heading sydney tomorrow morning for a weekends (yes! again!). Sound excited? oh y~e~a~h~!!! place without friends to hang out with is just bore~ it's time I need to make some sydney friends ~_^

Every drop counts!

So into drops lately. Here is another water drops photo I have been practising after inspirited from others. I found drops are very lovely and beautifully rounded. :p However, catching the moment of falling drops aren't easy, I didn't measure how much water I took, but at least a cup i guess. hahaha..... Well, I don't mean to against the water saving organisation here, I know that "Every drop counts!" the water hasn't been wasted, I have kept it for washing my dishes *o*

Today, I have sent a job out to print... but I have just realised I forgot to check the image file! damn~~~ hopefuly it turns out ok! gee~
